Hi, I’m Monika — the baker behind The Daily Crumb.

I’m a mom of three boys, and someone who has always loved being in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes and creating something delicious from simple ingredients.

For me, baking started with curiosity — trying new recipes, changing little things, learning from the loaves that didn’t turn out quite right, and getting way too excited about the ones that did. Somewhere along the way, sourdough became something I truly loved.

That love eventually inspired The Daily Crumb — a small local micro-bakery where I can share what I make with the people around me.

My goal is simple: to bake beautiful, fresh, homemade bread and treats for local families, friends, and neighbors. The kind of food that gets brought to the dinner table, shared with friends, or enjoyed with a cup of coffee in the morning.

You’ll find freshly baked sourdough, focaccia, sweet treats, and probably a few new things along the way — because experimenting is still one of my favorite parts of baking.

I’m excited to see where this little adventure takes me, and I’m so happy you’re here from the beginning.
